
Zheng Tianyi
Zheng Tianyi is an interdisciplinary artist working between Hong Kong and the Netherlands. She holds an MFA in Media, Art, Design, and Technology from the Frank Mohr Institute and a BA in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Tianyi’s work traverses mediums such as moving images, installations, and performances, exploring themes of identity, memory, and displacement within contemporary social contexts. Her practice delves into the interplay between human and non-human agents, often engaging with hauntology, a concept that interrogates the lingering presence of the past in the present. Tianyi has exhibited widely across Europe and Asia, with recent projects focusing on the cyclical nature of time and the ghostly remnants of found objects.
