Shuntaro Yoshino

Born in 1993 in Niigata Prefecture. Completed a Master’s Degree (Sculpture) at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts Department of Sculpture in 2019. Studied abroad at Royal Academy Schools (United Kingdom) in 2017. Opened WALLA, the shared space in Kodaira, Tokyo in August 2019 and has operated it jointly ever since. Hosted the exhibition Outology Vol. 1: Ghost / Scenery at WALLA in March 2020 as the producer. Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Program at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts. Specializes in sculpture, with a research theme of performance through manipulation. Mainly researches exhibition pedastals, dolls, clown acts, and magic. Carries out research and production of the wills of the sculptures and their performances.
