Omyo Cho

Omyo Cho explores speculative science, deep-sea biodiversity, and memory-based narratives through sculpture, installation, and video. Her dystopian novel Nudi Hallucination (2022~) envisions a future of commodified memories, serving as the basis for works that critique anthropocentric thinking and imagine future intelligences.

Omyo Cho has been featured in articles for e-flux, ARTnews and Ocula.

Notable projects include “Barrel Eye” (2022-23), screened at “Frieze Film Seoul 2023”, and “Nudi Hallucination” (2023), nominated for the 2024 Art Basel Statements sector.
