Lyota Yagi

Lyota Yagi was born in 1980 and completed the PhD program in sculpture at Kyoto City University of Arts’ Graduate School of Arts without a dissertation in 2012. He creates works based on critical thinking about restrictive perceptual systems and attitudes. Recent major exhibitions he has participated in include “A Visual Adventure of the Senses” (The Museum of Art, Ehime, 2022).
