Kimoto Hirotoshi

Kimoto Hirotoshi was born and lives in Aichi Prefecture. His works feature organic forms reminiscent of plant growth, cell division and neurons (nerve cells). As small shapes merge together, they form composite images like the human body or face. The rounded lines and pastel hues also help to ferment a general air of quietude. Kimoto created over 1000 works like this. Most were given numbers, with several hundred collected together and carefully placed in a bag for safekeeping.
