Hiraoka Nobuhiro

Hiraoka Nobuhiro was born and lives in Hyogo Prefecture. He was participating Suzukake Art Club run by Atelier Suzukake, a welfare facility (run by Social Welfare Corporation Ichiyou-kai) in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, though he first began creating at home during his childhood. His works focus on TV, newspapers and other forms of mass media, with real-life politicians and entertainers frequently popping up alongside words often heard in contemporary discourse. However, his newscasters just repeat the same words endlessly or blurt out celebrity names for no reason, with Hiraoka editing the news in a way that seems to satirize the information overload of our modern societies.
