Hidekazu Tanaka

Hidekazu Tanaka was born in 1979 and completed his PhD in oil painting at Kyoto City University of Arts’ Graduate School of Arts in 2021. His work attempts to expand the possibilities of abstract painting as a contemporary response to art history. Recent major exhibitions include “Chunks of Play” (COHJU Contemporary Art, 2022).
