Hama Daijiro

Born 1984 in Izumo, Shimane, Japan and moved to Toronto, Canada in 2005 to work on costumes and art for video productions. Since returning to Japan in 2011, he has been based in Kyoto, Japan. participated in “Nuit Blanche Kyoto ” in 2014. He held a solo exhibition “INVISIBLE” in Amsterdam in 2015. He moved to the Netherlands in 2019. He participated in “Urban Art Fair” (2019) and “ASIA NOW Paris Asian Art Fair” (2019-2022) in Paris, and held a solo exhibition “MUTATION” in Paris in April 2021 and a solo exhibition “MUTANT” at MARUEIDO JAPAN. In 2022, he published his first drawing book and held the exhibition “Telepathy” at LightSeed Gallery in WATARI-UM, The Watari Museum of Contemporary Art. In February 2023, he held a two-person exhibition “Inner Friends” with French artist Samy San in Rotterdam. In March 2023, he held a solo exhibition “THE MOMENT” at MARUEIDO JAPAN. Currently based in Den Haag, the Netherlands, he exhibits his works in Europe and Japan.
