Gaku Kurokawa

Gaku Kurokawa was born in Shimane Prefecture in 1994. In 2016, he graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts’ Music Faculty’s Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment. In 2018, he completed a Master of Sculpture at the Kyoto City University of Arts’ Graduate School of Arts. Playing and listening to sounds or reflecting on the act of “touching” various subjects constitutes the starting point for the creation of his works, which uses methods such as sculpture, performance, images, music, and more.
