Alina ZHDANOVA
Born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in Hokkaido, Japan.
Currently a video artist and a curator based in Kyoto, Japan.
Creates works that confront the viewer’s memory using people’s memories and conversations occurs within everyday life. Participated in numerous film festivals and exhibitions around the world. In addition to Japan, she has also done research in various countries and cities, including Finland, Germany, Russia, and the United Kingdom; collecting different cultures and memories.
